Yes! I will tell you where to put your hands, where to look, whether we're smiling or serious, all those little things. I'll break out some cheesy jokes, we'll chat about your wedding vision, and before long, you'll forget you're in front of the camera!
What should we expect from you on our wedding day?
More than the standard photographer stuff like coming prepared, posing people, and capturing moments.
I pride myself on being there for both of you to handle whatever needs done. I'm not there merely as a photographer, but also a friend. I've buttoned dresses, passed on messages, entertained kiddos, fixed veils, and pinned countless boutonnieres. I will help however I can, while also keeping an eye on the timeline, communicating with vendors, capturing your laughter and your tears, and celebrating your love with you both.
When can we expect our complete portraits and how many will there be?
The number of images in your final gallery will be approximately 50 per hour of coverage. An eight hour wedding will produce about 400 images. Oftentimes more but rarely less.
The process of culling, editing, and preparing all of these wedding day images takes up to five weeks.
When everything is ready, I invite you to the SDP studio for your reveal celebration. There, you'll get to relive your wedding day with the best images on the television and a handful printed to take with you. You will also receive your custom USB and a link to your online gallery for sharing with family and friends.
What rights do I have to the digital files?
You have the right to reprint images whenever you want for personal or gifting use. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish them within the written consent of Sarah DeMaranville Photography.
What do we need to do to book with you?
Get in touch! Shoot me an email/ text, give me a call, or send me a message via Facebook or Instagram. We’ll chat on the phone and meet up somewhere for a getting-to-know-you date. And when we’re sure that we’re a good fit, we’ll get to the legalities.
The contract must be signed by both of you and the $1000 retainer paid to officially hold your date. Please note, I will never book your date out from under you. You have seven days after our meeting get the contract and retainer to me. And, if someone else inquires about booking on your wedding date during those seven days, I’ll give you the right of first refusal. Promise.
